Rob has welcomed the increased DAB radio coverage that has resulted from the building of a series of new transmitters.
The expansion of digital radio has been in effect for a number of years now and the Government has now completed a three year plan for a potential digital radio switchover.
DAB digital radio offers a wide variety of national and local radio stations for listeners.
Rob said “DAB is definitely still the future for radio. It provides a much clearer sound than analogue stations and is listened to by over 25 million people each week. I think that it’s great that people in Reading and all over Berkshire now have better coverage of stations like Heart and BBC Radio Berkshire.”
